Photographing Winter Ducks with Susan Matson – “Voices of the Marsh 2024” Photo Walk

February 10 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join us as we venture into the marsh with Susan Matson in preparation for our 2024 Voices for the Marsh Photography Show. Basic knowledge of camera functions required. Casual pace with frequent stops for shooting. Quiet periods of listening for wildlife will alternate with q&a sessions.

We’ll meet in the Spring Lake parking area and move towards the back marsh. Possible geese, winter ducks (7 species possible), swans, raptors and more; beaver lodges.

Photography guide: Susan Matson, M.S., is a lifelong teacher and trainer with a special passion for wildlife photography. Her work has been used in print journalism (www.nj.com), business publications, and environmental activism materials (The Alliance for Sustainable Communities). She especially enjoys the wide range of bird life available at the Marsh in fall and winter.

Please RSVP below! This is a free community event, sponsored by the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands.  Don’t forget to bring your camera.
