Lichen Walk with Dennis Waters – Postponed – See March 13th

What are lichens and what can they tell us about our environment? Dennis Waters, local lichenologist, will join us on Saturday, February 20th, from 1 to 3 PM for a walk on the Bordentown Bluffs to help us answer these questions. Prepare to be amazed at these symbiotic organisms that live all around us, often without being noticed.
Sponsored by the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands and the D & R Canal State Park. The program is free but registration is required and due to Covid 19, the number of participants will be limited. Masks and social distancing will be required. Register here.
Meet at the end of Stanton Ave. – From Route 206 South, take the first right after the Pointe Breeze Apartments. (Note GPS often errs in locating this trail head – follow the Google Map link below for directions)
