Opening Reception Sunday, October 1, 2:30–4:30 pm! The Friends for the Abbott Marshlands is excited to announce their fall exhibit, “On Lenape Land” by New Jersey artist Susan Hoenig. Her solo exhibition of paintings and forest compositions will be on view October 1- December 31, 2023, with an Opening Reception Sunday, October 1, 2:30–4:30 pm at Tulpehaking Nature Center, 157 Westcott Ave., Hamilton, New Jersey. Susan will also lead two art workshops to express the beauty of trees – entitled “Rhythms of the Land” – on Saturday, October 21 from 10am-12pm for youth ( details and registration) and will
include a tour of the exhibition. The December 11 session, 10am- 12pm, will be for adults (details and registration) Program entails use of watercolor and/or oil pastels. Each is FREE, but registration is required. Registration opens for these programs on September 1, 2023.
