Three-fourths of the world’s plants depend on pollinators for their survival and pollinators are under threat caused by habitat loss, degradation, and fragmentation. The good news is that we can all do something about it by planting pollinator friendly plants in our yards. If you build it, they will come AND they are fun to watch! After a brief introduction to some basics about spring pollinators, Naturalist Pat Coleman will lead us in a visit to the gardens around the Nature Center and then Watson Woods in search of Spring Pollinators. Program is free but registration is required. Tickets go on sale April 20. Register here.
Please note: By participating in this event, you are giving the Friends for Abbott Marshlands, its representatives and staff, permission to record or take photographs of you during the event.
