Susan writes: “On Lenape Land” is based on my exhibition at the Tulpehaking Nature Center in Hamilton, New Jersey, October 1- December 31, 2023. The paintings and forest compositions are creative interpretations of my explorations of the Abbott Marshlands. I have a passion for the lives of trees and feel a great spiritual connection in acknowledging the land of the Lenape and its history. My paintings convey this special, vibrant living place related to a rich tapestry of cultural heritage.
