We'll explore the grounds of the nature center for some of the season's bountiful leaves and use them to create beautiful art. This is a Mercer County Park Commission Program. No registration required.

Join us for the reception of this creative exhibit and meet the four talented New Jersey artists whose art is displayed: Clara Sue Beym, Bayville (watercolors, acrylics), Maryann Cannon, Millville (intaglio etchings with luminescent watercolor), Kimberly Ducoté-Schimmel, Monroe Township, (graphite & charcoal drawings, and floral frottage with ink), and Alaina Elliott, Groveville (acrylics, gouache, colored pencils, and digital paintings). Come out for these free, relaxed walks on Abbott Marshlands trails that are all about community and enjoying nature. They are at different times of the day and week to better match busy schedules. Keep your body and mind healthy by joining this yoga class designed to improve overall strength, flexibility, joint mobility, and balance. We begin seated in a chair for some opening exercises and then move to standing poses for the majority of class, finishing with a short seated guided meditation. Please bring your own non-slip mat. All levels welcome! Classes are taught by Cathy Frank, Friends Outreach Director and certified yoga instructor. Free for Friends for the Abbott Marshlands members, $5 for all others. This month's walk is on the Island Trails in Roebling Park, Hamilton! Join us as we journey through the Island Trails with a focus on ecology. Parking is at the Spring Lake Parking lot (500 Sewell Ave, Hamilton, NJ), though you can park at the TNC Parking lot (157 Westcott Ave, Hamilton, NJ) and walk to Spring Lake as long as you arrive there by 10 am.
