Winter Tree Identification

The Abbott Marshlands are home to a wonderful variety of deciduous trees. Learn to recognize many of them even in winter. We originally planned this program to be in person last March, but then you-know-what happened.

This online presentation will share some identification resources and cover some basics about buds, bark, and branches. Then after you’ve had some time to do some exploring on your own, we’ll invite interested participants to an in-person walk(s) in January to try out our skills.
