EVENT IS FULL.   White City Amusement Park with historian Jim Colello, Jr. Let’s go to the White City Amusement Park with historian Jim Colello, Jr.  In the early 20 C White City Amusement Park was enormously popular.  Historian Jim Colello Jr., native of Hamilton, NJ, has written about this abandoned Park, dubbed “The Coney Island of New Jersey,” and will talk about its fascinating history and point out sites of the old park that can be viewed from the balcony of this historic home. Parking is available on Harrison Ave. or McClellan Ave., and also in parking lot at foot of Sewall Ave.  Allow 10 minutes to walk back up hill to Sewell Ave., and note that the mansion cannot be reached via the concrete staircase from the park.  Sorry, the event is full and no further registrations can be taken.  Free of charge; donations appreciated.
