Nov 11: Canoe/Kayak the Abbott Marshlands. 9:30 a.m. Veterans Day is a public holiday that began as a day to remember the end of World War I and was declared a holiday by President Woodrow Wilson in 1919. Originally known as Armistice Day, the holiday became Veterans Day in 1954.  Meet at Bordentown Beach, end of Park St.  Our 8 mile tidal trip in the Abbott Marshlands, via Crosswicks and Watson’s Creeks, returns to Bordentown Beach.
