This month’s walk is on the Island Trails in Roebling Park, Hamilton! It is all about the sights and sounds of Spring! Come out for a beautiful hike as nature comes alive, if we are lucky we will see some April wildflowers in bloom. Parking is at the Spring Lake Parking lot (500 Sewell Ave, Hamilton, NJ), though you can park at the TNC Parking lot (157 Westcott Ave, Hamilton, NJ) and walk to Spring Lake as long as you arrive there by 10 am.
Note: This walk was originally scheduled for Northern Community Park, and was moved here because of a conflict with a township acitivity.
Join us on the First Saturday of each month to experience the health and wellness benefits of a walk in the outdoors. Each First Saturday Walk will explore a different part of the rich and diverse natural area known as the Abbott Marshlands. All walks are from 10 am to noon. In case of inclement weather, check the marsh website; any cancellations will be listed before 9 am on the day of the event. A light drizzle will not cancel. Program is free but registration is Required.
