Eugene has been featured on the History Channel’s MonsterQuest as a spider expert and has 22 peer-reviewed scientific papers. He was a laboratory manager at Rutgers University for 14 years and still keeps exotics insects. This is his 10th year of arthropod-themed talks within the marshlands and he is very happy to share his passion and knowledge with you.
Join us on the First Saturday of each month to experience the health and wellness benefits of a walk in the outdoors. Each First Saturday Walk will explore a different part of the rich and diverse natural area known as the Abbott Marshlands. All walks are from 10 am to noon. In case of inclement weather, check the marsh website; any cancellations will be listed before 9 am on the day of the event. A light drizzle will not cancel. Program is free but registration is Required.
