DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends and Turtle Beans Specialty Coffee in celebrating the Earth! \n\nCome out for an Earth Day group walk on Bordentown Bluffs Trail\, then head over to Turtle Beans Specialty Coffee afterwards to enjoy some great coffee\, tea\, and food with Friends. \nWe are asking an optional $5 donation for those who come to for the walk\, which will be used for native plantings on the trailhead at Northern Community Park by the Friends and can be paid in advance or at the walk. Please RSVP and join us\, even if you cannot donate at this time 🙂 \nCan’t go on the walk or to Turtle Beans afterwards and still want to donate to the Friends for Earth Day? Donate here! \nBordentown Bluffs Trailhead is at the end of Stanton Road\, take a right off of Rt 206 SOUTH just past point Breeze Apartments and and  before the traffic light for Park St. \nPlease register so we can contact you of any change in case of weather!

DESCRIPTION:Professor Dan Druckenbrod of Rider University will lead this walk on the beautiful grounds of Point Breeze\, sharing his knowledge of how tree rings help to reconstruct the history of Point Breeze and how they also provide insight into a changing climate. \nProgram is free but registration is required! \nEach First Saturday of the Month\, the Friends host a walk to explore a different part of the rich and diverse natural area known as the Abbott Marshlands. All walks are from 10 am to noon. In case of inclement weather\, check the marsh website; any cancellations will be listed before 9 am on the day of the event. A light drizzle will not cancel.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for some fresh air and exercise during this outdoor yoga mini-class and nature walk led by Cathy Frank. We begin with 30 minutes of yoga\, standing poses only (no mat needed) that help stretch and strengthen the body for walking. The yoga is light-hearted and suitable for any level of experience\, including brand new beginners! The nature walk will be at a steady and comfortable pace\, focusing on the sights and sounds around us. We will meet at the Pavilion outside the Nature Center. Cathy Frank has been a certified yoga teacher for over 15 years and a nature lover for far longer. \nPlease register through RSVP button below.
