Exploring the Geology of the Abbott Marshlands – Part 2

The Geology and Hydrogeology of the Abbott Marshland is the result of nearly 100,000,000 years of deposition and erosion. Following up on on his introductory walk and talk last month, this month Pierre Lacombe, retired USGS hydrogeologist, will lead us on a walk on the trails of the Bordentown Bluff to further explore exposures of the marshland’s sediment of clay, silt, sand, and pebbles, and various streambed features. Pierre Lacombe is a retired USGS hydrogeologist.Program is free but registration is required. Register here.
