Discovery Walk

There’s a lot to discover in the Marshlands in June!

Join Mark Manning for a guided tour of the Spring Lake area of the Abbott Marshlands on Saturday, June 19th at 9 AM. Adults and families with children are welcome.

Mark is a teacher of chemistry and toxicology at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Pennington, New Jersey, a volunteer, advocate and supporter of the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands, and a board member of the Washington Crossing Audubon Society. He has experience leading nature walks and outdoor programs on poisonous plants, reptiles and amphibians, and birding for beginners, as well as teaching virtual programs on poisonous plants of the Northeastern United States. His greatest passions are exploring the outdoors with his family, and introducing people to the natural wonders of New Jersey.

Note: Due to Covid 19, registration is required and will be limited to 15 participants. Program is free . Masks and social distancing also required.  Registration opens on June 1st.
