SUMMARY:Dedication of WCAS Memorial Bench for Charlie Leck
DESCRIPTION:Join this tribute to Charlie Leck by Washington Crossing Audubon Society in honor of his many years of volunteer service. A short program/comments will begin at ~1:45.  The bench is located along the D&R Canal State Park tow path trail at lock 1\, near the restored bridge. Please check the marsh website for cancellation/ changes after 10 AM).Rain Date OCT 5\, same time.  No registration needed.\n\nFor Food and Libation – Bring your own and a lawn chair  if you’d like to stay and socialize and chat with folks.\n\nParking locations: \n\n(1\, 2) Scenic Overlooks – I-295 (just north of Bordentown\, slightly north of Crosswicks Creek)- either north or south-bound parking areas. If on the south-bound side\, cross over the highway via bridge; walk down ramp and follow trail to lock 1 of the D&R Canal. On the n-bound side: walk down ramp and follow trail to lock 1 of the D&R Canal.\n\n(3) Light Rail Stop: parking lot at Light Rail stop (Bordentown\, Park Street). Take trail to pedestrian bridge over Crosswicks Creek\, and follow to wooden bridge and tow-path trail.\nPlease check the marsh website for cancellation/ changes after 10 AM).Rain Date OCT 5\, same time.
