Join this tribute to Charlie Leck by Washington Crossing Audubon Society in honor of his many years of volunteer service. A short program/comments will begin at ~1:45. The bench is located along the D&R Canal State Park tow path trail at lock 1, near the restored bridge. Parking locations:
(1, 2) Scenic Overlooks – I-295 (just north of Bordentown, slightly north of Crosswicks Creek)- either north or south-bound parking areas. If on the south-bound side, cross over the highway via bridge; walk down ramp and follow trail to lock 1 of the D&R Canal. On the n-bound side: walk down ramp and follow trail to lock 1 of the D&R Canal.
(3) Light Rail Stop: parking lot at Light Rail stop (Bordentown, Park Street). Take trail to pedestrian bridge over Crosswicks Creek, and follow to wooden bridge and tow-path trail.
