Combating Harmful Misconceptions and Stereotypes about Native People

October 22, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Don’t all Indians live in Teepees? Don’t all Indians live on reservations?

Is the term ‘Indian’ even appropriate ??? These are just a few of the common questions / false statements many Indigenous people encounter on a regular basis. Join Trinity Norwood for a conversation about combating harmful misconceptions and stereotypes about Native People. This will be a safe space to ask questions and learn how to be a better ally to the Indigenous Communities.

Trinity Norwood is a member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation.

Event is free, with registration needed. Please register here!
