Calling All Citizen Scientists! Start collecting data using iNaturalist

April 12, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Did you know that the Mercer County Park Commission Stewardship Team is looking for citizen scientists to help them provide data to guide restoration project decisions? iNaturalist is a citizen science tool used both by the Stewardship Team and the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands to understand the distribution of species.
If you enjoy visiting the parks and taking pictures, you can contribute data to our projects. Alex Rivera, Mercer County Land Steward will give a virtual presentation on iNaturalist sharing with us some tips about how your data can be utilized and how to make good quality research observations.

Not familiar with iNaturalist? Here’s some links to a few project pages you might be interested in seeing.
