Observe archaeologists at work and learn about the culture of the original people of New Jersey, the Lenape, from the artifacts found at the Trent House. See demonstrations of how the original people of New Jersey, the Lenape, made stone tools, pottery, and wampum. Hands-on activities will give children a chance to design decorations for pottery and try their hand at finding and identifying artifacts.
Presented by the Trent House Museum in partnership with Hunter Research, New Jersey State Museum, Tulpehaking Nature Center, and Friends for the Abbott Marshlands.
