Calling all Marsh volunteers and prospective volunteers!
Are you a fan of the Abbott Marshlands and the Tulpehaking Nature Center? Would you like to know more about marsh ecology and local area history? Join this program that received rave reviews from previous participants for its content and community.
We have developed the Abbott Marshlands Ambassadors Program – a series of informative workshops – for someone just like you! The Abbott Marshlands Ambassador program runs monthly on Tuesday afternoons in 1.5 hour sessions and is an opportunity for participants to collaborate with others, learn, and ask questions about the marshlands in an informal, interactive environment.
Program is held at the Tulpehaking Nature Center and tentative program dates are: Oct 27, 2026; Dec 1, 2026; Jan 12, 2027; Feb 9, 2027; Mar 9, 2027, and Apr 6, 2027.
Recordings will also be available for missed sessions.
Our program will be supported in part by a generous donation to the Charlie Leck Fund. Charlie was a long-time ambassador to the marshlands. In his years of volunteer service, he found many ways to share the significance of the Abbott Marshlands with a wider audience!
