Annual Meeting of the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands

As the year moves towards Earth Day, the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands would like to extend an invitation to all its members and volunteers. Join us April 25 at 10 am for the Annual Meeting of the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands at the Tulpehaking Nature Center. This meeting will allow us all to get together and celebrate accomplishments from the past year, enjoy the present, and peek into the future! All members and volunteers of the Friends are welcome.

After a brief business meeting that includes elections and a presentation of the 2025 highlights, we will be honoring this year’s recipients of our Volunteer Awards. The Mary A. Leck Award recipient is Pat Coleman – join us in celebrating her many accomplishments in the Marsh! We will also have some activities “just for fun” and refreshments.

Please register so we can plan accordingly. Only current members of the Friends can vote in the elections. Not sure if you’re a member? You can check the current membership page here. To become an active member, click here.

Your membership and volunteer efforts are more important than ever before as we work toward increasing the educational, stewardship, and recreational benefits we strive to provide to the communities in the Abbott Marshlands.

We look forward to seeing you all! In order for us to get everything prepared for the expected headcount we ask that you please RSVP here by April 22 if you can join us.
