The Marsh is Alive!
Call For Art – #TheMarshisAlive! #abbottmarshlandsimpressions

The Marsh is wonderfully alive as it comes into its full glory of summer. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit, make some art, and share it on our showcase.
We invite you to enter your original sketches, paintings, photography, poetry/prose or sculpture. Submissions will be accepted on our website through the 20th of August for this Showcase. In late August, we’ll feature selected creations in a virtual gallery on our website. Information that you share with us may be shared with the public.
Visit our prior Inspiration Showcases here.
Our showcase forum will allow visitors to express a personal sense of place for the Abbott Marshlands and related environments. We as humans are naturally compelled to tell stories and the showcase provides a creative outlet to do so, especially while we are practicing social distancing.
We invite you to post your original sketches, paintings, photography, poetry/prose or sculpture on social media with #abbottmarshlandsimpressions, followed by the specific theme hashtag. Be sure to first visit the Abbott Marshlands trails and scenic vistas for inspiration.
Themes and submission dates will be posted monthly or bimonthly as needed. Creators can be any age and need not be professional artists. Please include only one submission per person per theme. Entry is FREE. Our goal is to interest and connect the entire community to our unique natural marshland environments.
Thanks for your interest. Please check back for the Inspirations Showcase on our website early next month. Follow #abbottmarshlandsimpressions on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!
