Senior Division –Mercer County Science & Engineering Fair
The Friends for the Abbott Marshlands and Tulpehaking Nature Center are pleased to congratulate Sonja Michaluk, the 2020 Winner of the Outstanding Wetlands Project Award.
Her project entitled, “Optimizing Taxonomic Identification of Chironomidae (Diptera) for a Novel Method of Monitoring Our Global Freshwater Supply using DNA Bar Coding (A Continuation)”, was selected as the Senior Division project that best addresses:
- Wetlands Ecology
- Wetlands Organisms
- Wetlands Issues
- and/or was carried out at the Abbott Marshlands.

This monetary award ($100) is given for a senior division project at the Mercer County Science and Engineering Fair that best addresses:
